Meet the ADPO Committee

The ADPO Executive Committee have been elected to represent all Data Protection members. We aim to do this by focusing on the following areas:

• Provide accredited training for you to up-skill
• Yearly Conference and regular events & webinars to learn, share & broaden your network
• Lobbying for positive integration of data protection both in Ireland and across Europe

This month we would like to introduce you to Audrey Barrett, member of the ADPO events sub-committee.

Audrey is SIPTU’s Data Protection Officer, based at Liberty Hall in Dublin. Ireland’s largest trade union, SIPTU represent over 180,000 workers from virtually every category of employment across almost every sector of the Irish economy. Audrey heads a team who advise and support the union in all matters relating to data privacy.

Coming from a finance background she holds a Diploma in GDPR and ePrivacy, is a European Certified Data Protection Officer and a Certified Cyber Risk Officer.
